Cut on Vulva

Hi, I posted here once before.
I was just wondering, I had itching on my vulva (that's the hood, right?) that would get momentarily relieved by scratching, but it wasn't inside. I'm pretty sure it only happens if I'm wearing tight underwear, or if I've been sitting around in my underwear for a long time. First of all, how do I solve this?
Secondly, as a result of this scratching, I think I got a small cut on my vulva. The only way I can tell is that when I peed this morning, it burned outside of my vulva, not inside though. But when I went a little bit earlier, it didn't burn. Does this mean it healed, and if not, can it get infected because the urine ran over it?

i think i'm probably just super paranoid, but i have a question:
i'm on otc lo, i'm 17, and i smoke cigarettes. i'm not a heavy smoker, maybe three or four a day, but i smoke nonetheless.
lately i've been having this cramp in my left leg, just below the knee. i read in the birth control packet that if this happened, it might be a blood clot.

about how likely would that be? how bad would the cramp have to be? it comes and goes, its really not a steady painful feeling at all. if it is a clot, how do they get it out? how serious would the problem be? could the paranoia be making my mind play games on me?
i'm trying really hard to quit smoking, not only because of this but because i'm in madrigals this year and i want my voice to improve..

sorry for the dumb question, but somebody help ease my mind..please?

Shooting breast pain

Every week before my period, the few days of my period, and the week after I get incredibly sore breasts. I know this is normal, but lately it's become more painful to the point where if I cross my arms I actually wince from pain.

Also, I've been getting this shooting pain in both breasts - it happens all over the breast but it's usually concentrated towards the middle.

I had an ultrasound performed and they only found a benign cyst, they said that it didn't attribute to the shooting pain. Does anyone else get this shooting pain? Is there anything I can do to lessen the pain?

Hood Hairs

I'm really freaked out and worried. I decided to look at my vagina for no apparent reason like I usually do and I was startled. I pulled back the hood over my clit and there appeared to be 3 small hairs growing from UNDER the hood, above my clit. I can't feel them and I have no idea how long they have been there. I can't even see the root of where they are growing but they look very short and straight. What the heck?! Is this something to be worried about?

HPV Questions

First time poster here, and fairly a LJ newbie since until lately I was RARELY on here.

So I tested positive for HPV... and I have a few questions.

I don't have genital warts... never had an outbreak. Is it possible to have HPV and NOT have outbreaks (different strains, etc)? They said there is abnormal cell growth as well.

Secondly, is it always sexually transmitted? If so how soon after contact would they find it in a test?

Sorry if this is fairly broad and random but any info would be great.

The great UTI mystery, advice?

I am now suffering from my second UTI, which seems to have happened in the exact same way as my first did in June. I am confused because there seems to be no real cause for them. I hate being on Antibiotics because I get all the ugly side effects, but I have had a fever both times I've gotten them so natural remedies are out the window. The odd thing is that both times I have gotten a UTI at the end of my period- any connection?

pelvic exam + period??

so
I have my first ever gynecologist pelvic exam whatever scheduled for tomorrow, and today I got my period. (early, the fucker.)
Should I call and reschedule my appointment? I'm thinking yes, but complicating things is the fact that I am leaving the country on Aug. 25th and won't be back until December. So I don't know if I could get another appointment before I leave. But, I feel healthy, I don't really think there's any reason why it should be urgent, I just felt like I probably should get this done this summer before I left.
