Question about diflucan?

Ok this may be stupid but I'm on the nuvaring and got perscribed diflucan (actually its generic fluconazole) to clear up a yeastie beastie.
Ok, on my package the pharmacy slapped on a sticker that says "some medicines may decrease the effictivenes of birthcontrol pills"
I checked the drug interaction checker and it says that it may make side effects worse or something... this is what it says:
Azole antifungal agents may increase the plasma concentrations and, consequently, the pharmacologic effects of estrogens and progestins. The mechanism is decreased clearance of the hormones due to inhibition of CYP450 3A4 activity by azole antifungals. Fluconazole doses of 150 mg and 200 mg have been shown to increase the serum concentrations of ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel in healthy women receiving low-dose oral contraceptives, while single and multiple doses of fluconazole 50 mg had no significant effect on the pharmacokinetics of a high-dose oral contraceptive containing 150 mcg ethinyl estradiol and norgestrel 300 mcg. Ironically, there have been isolated reports of breakthrough bleeding and unintended pregnancy during use of oral contraceptives with itraconazole, which would suggest decreased rather than increased effect of the contraceptives. However, the association to itraconazole is questionable.
So they're saying that it actually increases the plasma concentrations which is not bad, but then it goes on to say that some people may have had BTB or unintended pregnancy...
Also, it says low-dose ORAL contraceptives, should I be less worried because I'm on the nuvaring?
I'm worried!!!! I hate using condoms (which I will of course if needed) but... what is your take on this oh great VPers!!!
EDIT: From the NuvaRing perscribing info
A single-dose vaginal administration of an oil-based 1200 mg miconazole nitrate capsule increased the
serum concentrations of etonogestrel and ethinyl estradiol by approximately 17% and 16%, respectively.
Following multiple doses of 200 mg miconazole nitrate by vaginal suppository or vaginal cream, the mean
serum concentrations of etonogestrel and ethinyl estradiol increased by up to 40%.
So it's saying suppositorally, the concentrations were upped, which doesn't mean that it gave out more hormones right? It jsut means... what exactly does that mean?
But that still isn't explaining what will happen if taken orally..
and then it says:
Contraceptive effectiveness may be reduced when hormonal contraceptives are co-administered with
some antifungals, anticonvulsants, and other drugs that increase metabolism of contraceptive steroids. This could result in unintended pregnancy or breakthrough bleeding. Examples include barbiturates, griseofulvin, rifampin, phenylbutazone, phenytoin, carbamazepine, felbamate, oxcarbazepine,
topiramate, and modafinil. Women may need to use an additional contraceptive method when taking
such medications.
I am just so confused...
