I hope you don't mind that I'm using the anonymous poster account from another community I'm in-- advice4teens.

Earlier this evening I was trying to find my G-spot.  While I'm not sure I had much luck, since there weren't really any fantastic sensations or anything, I did get wetter and wetter (as I kept stimulating where I *thought* the g-spot should be), and then, because I had heard of female ejaculation from someone, I tried to do that.  Now I've heard that you can't pee when there's anything inside your vagina, but I'm not sure if I had female ejaculation or not.

There was fluid when I bore down, and a fair amount of it, but it just somewhat dribbled.  It didn't have much of a taste (though none of my fluids really do) and it only had a faint urine-ish smell, and that was only when it dried.  But I know for a fact that I didn't have an orgasm.

So did I pee, or... what?

[Edit: And you know, I got to thinking that it's kind of gross that I tasted it if it actually was urine...]

Hey ladies.

Ok, I've got a question and my Google search didn't give me too many answers, so here goes.

Here's some background info: I havn't had my period since April 2004. I'm 18. I developed an eating disorder June of that same year (I'm in "recovery" right now), and was pretty underweight until recently. I was in the hospital for it three different times over the past 2 years, each time gaining about 20 lbs, then losing, then going into treatment, etc. I had a bone density scan last November while in the hospital, and it came up positive for Osteopenia. So basically, I've lost and gained significant amounts of weight in the past two years and, as a result, have not had my period.

The weird thing is that my periods have always been irregular. I'd get it a couple months, and then I wouldn't. Last time I got it was April 2004, but I didn't start restricting untill a few months after so...it doesn't make sense. I know I should go to a gyno and my mom keeps bugging me but I'm freaked. I don't want her poking around my bits and, maybe even moreso, I'm afraid she might say I'm permenantly infertile.

My question is just...has anyone here gone through this? What might the treatment/prognosis for this be? I'm freaked. I HATE my period and now I kinda want it back just because I'm suddenly realizing how serious of a problem it might be.

Thanks.

I have posted a couple of times in the past few months with my issues, but it seems to keep getting worse and worse. I am hoping someone can offer some advice! My history:

1999-December of 2005 I was on OrthoNovum and knew when my period would come almost to the minute. I went off the pill in Dec. and had regular 28-31 day cycles between Dec. and March, with periods lasting about 4 days. So then...

March 16-19 normal period
March 26 took ECP/Plan B
April 1 started period (probably fake due to plan b)
April 2 started yasmin
April 10-17 continuous light spotting
April 21 started loestrin 24 (i hated yasmin)
April 17- may 2 medium period
may 2 period stopped! it seemed like the loestrin was working and everything was great
May 17-18 light period (this was during my 4 off days, so when it should have been)
May 28-present (june 7) progressively heavier period, clots

So for the past week and a half, despite near perfect use of Loestrin, I have been bleeding rather heavily, filling 1-2 divacups per day. I would say 1/4-1/3 of the cup is clots. The blood is extremely dark red. I have also had some mild cramping.

Could this still be my body reacting to the plan b, or adjusting to the new hormones even though I am almost finished with my second pack of loestrin? Or is this a sign of something else? I feel like all these clots could be indicative of something else, but I don't know what. I do know that I am really tired of being on my period, I am really tired of having period sex, I am really tired of my divacup...you get the point.

My plan right now is to take my active pills for the next 4 days (that's what I have left in the pack) and then see what happens during my 4 off days and the days after that. Then call my doctor if I am still bleeding and see what she thinks.

Is this a good plan, or do I need to call her sooner? I wouldn't be quite as concerned except for all the clots. Any advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks for reading!

Okay, this is a long shot but I've been lurking on this community for quite some time and I'm really hoping you ladies can help me out here.

My period is late.

My boyfriend and I are most of the time safe, but there have been a couple of times where we didn't have any condoms avaliable and he would just pull out before he ejaculated (which I know is a completely unsafe method.)

However, I've taken two pregnancy tests (first response) and they've both come back negative (I know they're only a certain percent accurate though, so I'm not banking on it or anything).

Anyway, I had sort of a wild thought last night, and the reasonable part of my mind says there's no way this is possible but I'm asking anyway.

A lot of times if we didn't have lube, we'd use some kind of hand lotion or body lotion as lubrication. (Which I know is horrible for your vagina, but sometimes in the heat of the moment it's hard to care, lol.)

Anyway, since the lotion can mess with you and cause YI and things like that, what are the chances it's possibly messed with my pH balance and screwed up my cycle?

That sounds so far fetched now that I type it out, but oh well.

I also suspect my delayed period could just be a result of stress (I'm really not ready for a child right now) but I can't destress until my period comes and it's not coming which is just stressing me out more. Any tips on how to do something to calm my body so that my period will come if stress is the problem?

ps: I'm also going to go buy more pregnancy tests soon. It's difficult when you live in a small town where everyone knows you when you walk in the store and then you live with your parents who would freak if they found out this is a possibility.

And eh, while we're at it: Abortion pill? Does anyone have any advice to offer about it/has anyone used it? And does it mess with your future ability to procreate?

Thanks guys.

Hello to all! I was painfull dry and itchy on Monday. I went to the OB/GYN on Tuesday, and he gave me a cream for what he said was, "a very mild yeast infection" (it must have been called mild because I had zero discharge)> Anyway, I used the cream, and it was soothed and all better within - I kid you not - an hour. I guess I shouldn't have complained that the Rx was $50.

Anyway, I was totally fine all day yesterday, but this morning my itchies are back!! I'm not drying out (not yet at least), and I still don't have any unusual disharge, but it is very uncomfortable. The weirdest thing: the itching is centralized on my clitoral hood again! It's my hood - not my urethra, nor my actual clotoris - that itches.

Upon leaving his office, my doc said, "If it's not better by Thursday, call me and we;ll get you in here again on Friday". I feel hesitant to call him to say it's not better because it was better, but it got bad again. Should I buy some monistat and see if that helps? Should I call my doc? Help!!!! I'm so itchy!!!!

(PS - there is no chance this is an STI)

Hey vulva loving superstars, I have a question!

I am on the Nuva Ring as a 4 weeks in 1 week out girl. I love it. But anyway. I am scheduled to start my period on the very last day of a vacation, so doing 3 weeks in 1 week out wont work in this case because it would put my period right in the middle of the vacation. Since I don't really want to have my period while I'm sitting on a plane for extended hours, I was just checking to make sure this would be alright:

Instead of 4 weeks in 1 week out I left the ring in for 4 weeks and 1 day and only took it out for 6 days. My reasoning behind this is that the ring is supposed to have 4 weeks and a few days "extra" hormones, just in case.

So best case scenario it pushes my period back one day, worst case scenario, I get my period that day anyway, which I'll be prepared for I'd just really rather not deal with it.

that is the worst case scenario right, there'd be nothing wrong with extending the ring in for 1 day as long as I shorten my ring out time by 1 day?

Thanks!

edit: Stacking rings for 8 weeks or even 6 won't work for me because I'm paranoid and find my period reassuring, but thanks to those of you who suggested it, for other people I'm sure that would be a great idea :)

my SO fingered me yesterday, and it might have gotten a little bit rough. right afterward, he saw a tiny bit of blood lining his cuticles on his fingers, and we figured it must be because of broken tissue or something. i'm still having it today, and blood is leaking out a tiiiiny bit at a time, like spotting. i don't think it's implantation bleeding (still a virgin, but you can refer to my last protected post... http://community.livejournal.com/vaginapagina/8014764.html for the "what if" scenario), so i'm thinking it's just that we scratched up the inside, which i've read can happen. when i wiped right after, there was a bit of pinkish blood (definitely not menstrual blood), and then one or two hours later it had tiny little clots in it, like watermelon juice on your plate. afterwards, it stopped appearing when i wiped, but then it appeared on my panties a sort of dark, brownish blood. how long does this usually last? i thought it would end in just a little while, like a regular cut...

I was wondering if anyone has used a homeopathic remedy for curing gential warts caused by hpv?

I'm more interested in trying a homeopathic remedy (such as Nitricum Acidum) than using a cream or having them frozen or burned off (eep!). They are relatively small warts that I would like to wrangle under control.

Thanks in advance!

I am new here *wave* and already have a question for you wonderful people.

I have been on the pill since I was a bout 17, and I am going to be 25 this September. I have never really thought about venturing away from the pill (though I did do a little stunt with the patch but that was quick). Recently I have been thinking about talking to my doctor about getting an IUD.

My problem is that I don’t know anyone that has one, or has had one, and was wondering if those who have or did have would mind sharing their stories with me, what sorts of side effects did you experience? Did it work well for you? Is it something that you plan on keeping even after you need to get a new one? Did it ever “slip out” (that’s my biggest worry)? How was the process of getting it inserted?

While I have been doing some research around the net, one thing that I don’t see listed as a side effect is weight gain. Is that a side effect that no one wants to talk about? Does this generally have more or less hormone in it then the pill?

I know these are all questions I could ask my doctor, but it will be a bit before I run out of my pill and wanted to learn a little before that time comes. Any help or advice would be great! Thanks!

ive checked the memories but nothing really answered all of my questions...it was helpful just not exactly what i was looking for.

I have a genetic blood clotting disease/illness/something which gets worse on Hormones which caused me to get off of my true love the patch (worked amazingly for me). but this means the Mirena is out and im "stuck" with the Paraguard. this leaves a couple questions...

1) im 21 yrs old and im in a monogamous relationship and well i want kids but not for at least 5 yrs. am i going to have issues getting it because of how "young" i am? id be using it as BC (among other things) not to get me infertile for the rest of my life...if that makes a difference. in the memories, people seemed to think a 24 yr old should be able to get it relatively easily..but 21 and 24 are different.

2) other than BC which is a postivie side-affect of the Paraguard, i want to get on something because of bad cramps, nauseouness, and over all pain. these symptoms originally got me on hormones and realizing the Paraguard isnt hormonal, would it still reduce the cramps, etc?

3) i want to get this ASAP...my bf and i are getting impatient. i have yet to talk to my mom but i think she'll be good about it since when i was told i had to get off Hormones she even mentioned an IUD. how long will i have to wait? can i just call planned parenthood/gyno (depends on which will be cheaper for us) and say "i want an IUD, when can i have onbe put in" or if i do have to do the consult how long after the consult do i have to wait, typically, for the actual insertion.

I think thats about it. i did look through the memories and it did bring up other points (the age thing hadnt really occured to me) but it didnt answer the other questions to my knowledge. if i over looked something, ill delete this.

Hello Ladies!!
Quick question..Whenever I try to do a kegal (and I'm pretty sure I'm doing them right) I can't seem to hold them for more than five seconds, i honestly can't, even if I try really hard. When I do a kegal, it feels really good, almost like masturbating, but so good i can't do it for more than five seconds. is this weird? Am I doing them wrong?

thanks girls:)

Girls, i just discovered applicator tampons. If anyone has not tried them yet you NEED TO TRY THEM because they are amazing!!!! I used them for the first time today and i am so impressed!

This isn't a question specifically for people with vaginas (or even involving vaginas, really), but this community is always helpful, so I thought I'd give it a try here!
I'm being treated for a random illness with Avelox. I don't really like it because it makes me dizzy and hyper, but those I can deal with. The side effect that's killing me, however, is the soreness in various parts of my gums. On the right side roof of my mouth is this soreness that even water irritates, and I have been told that that area of my mouth is a white color (I can't see it myself). The rest of my mouth feels like there's sawdust on it (if that makes any sense). I didn't get a vaginal YI, but I'm worried I got oral thrush. Wikipedia says its a common side effect of antibiotics, and the packaging on Avelox mentions it as a possible side effect. I have two days left on the antibiotic. Should I go to a doctor, get diagnosed, and get prescription anti-fungal stuff, or are there any home remedies? I've tried yogurt, its the only thing I can eat that doesn't hurt. Will it just go away after I stop the drug in two days, or do I need to do something about it? Thanks so much in advance!

So, after a few hours with only one response, I finally realized that I had posted this in the wrong community. Hopefully this community will better know what I'm galking about. :)

My question is psuedo-simple.

I effed up my cycle because I *was* taking Ortho-Tricyclen Lo and kept forgetting pills. I've been bleeding all month. I want to switch to Ortho Evra and have the patches ready. I was instructed to fininsh my OTC-Lo pack and then start the patch. But, I ended up stopping the pack because I was bleeding. Recently, my bleeding has been more "period" like than spotting. So basically, is it okay to start my patch now even though it wouldn't technically "Day 1" and such? Or should I just wait until Sunday?

When I jumped on the birth control bandwagon, I had no idea what I was getting myself into! :)

Hello all!
First time poster here, Ive tried to read some back entries and couldnt find anything that was like my question, but, if im wrong, then i apologize for being redundant!

My period is VERY irregular. I lost weight in the fall due to marching season (band geek yay!) but then gain it back. I guess it scares it away, because for the passed three years I only get my period every 3-4 months, if not longer. Ive really just stopped keeping track.

Anyway, some months, when I dont get my period, I get this funky brown substance instead. Its kind of like at the end of cycle, when its no longer blood, its just clumpy and brown. I get that instead of an actual period. Theres no rhyme or reason to it though.

Basically ... my cycle is super irregular and its awful staining everything.

Thanks for your help! :)

Hi ladies,

I have a quick question -- has anyone here who has been on OTC-Lo, stopped taking thir pills 2 weeks in? How long were you bleeding for after you did? I'm not taking them for birth control, but for cycle regulation, and I've been an absolute hormonal mess the last 2 weeks, AND I've been spotting throughout, AND my cramps have been absolutely intolerable.... I think these are wrong for me, and I just want to quit taking them, but I'd really rather not have a 54-day period.....

thanks for your replies!!!

This isn't vagina related but it's still female related, right?

Anyhow, this new guy I am seeing and I got a bit carried away last night, and now I had 4 large hickeys on my chest. Like, they're huge. I look like I got punched in the chest or something. While I enjoy biting in the heat of the moment, it is now the day after and these things HURT like hell! My question is... Does anyone know of any good remedies to ease the pain? I tried an ice pack but it really hasn't helped much at all.
Thanks =]

Hello everyone.
So a while ago I wrote how my period was extremely heavy and never ever ever ending.
I thought my situation was hopeless.
Then, I got on the patch, and it stopped, and I was so happy.
And then I found out that, much like not taking the placebos for the week you're sposed to have your period while on the Pill, one can just not apply a new patch on the fourth week, instead of leaving it off and bleeding.
So I've been doing that.
However, this week, I've been having some..stuff. It's like..not bloody exactly, it's darker. Well, today it was kind of reddish brownish. But it is not chunky and nasty like my periods were..but it's still definitely there. It's not nearly as heavy as my periods were. But as I said, it's noticeable, and it pisses me off. Does anyone have any idea what this is about? It's bothering me.
Do you think I should just remove my patch, since it isn't doing its job anyway?
Thanks.
[identity profile] sxyskeksis.livejournal.com
Ok, I have the most obnoxious problem. I expel tampons and insteads. Sometimes I can use them up to once a day for up to 3-4 hours, but usually it's more like once a cycle. It's not that they are leaking, they just come right on out, and let me tell you how much that hurts with a dry tampon. It's also not related to straining or anything like that. I have had two kids vaginally but partners say I'm fairly tight and have fabulous kegals (preen.) I am also fat, around 270 at 5'10" in case that makes a difference. I don't know about this before I had my first because I waited until after her to use tampons at all. I do have an IUD (it was copper but they switched to Mirena, long story that I'll share if you care.) I also have noticed that my vaginal opening kind of swells to the outside when irritated or aroused. The only way I can describe it is like those slow motion movies of flowers blooming where the stamen curls out? I dunno, it's weird. :)

The question is, could a Divacup or Mooncup work for me or would I just be wasting money on something that my body will reject? I've heard about the suction aspects of them so I'm hoping!!

Hello, I'm new to the community! I was watching it and looking for information regarding my question, but I couldn't really find what I was looking for. Sorry if I've missed it, and, if so, someone please redirect me.
Anyway, for the past nearly two weeks I have had my "period." I say that with quotation marks because it has been very unlike my normal menstruation; the blood has been very light, and more of a brown color that one would get during the beginning of her period (the discharge from the last period..). There was maybe one day or so where the blood was of normal color, but even then it was very light. This wouldn't be too alarming other than the fact that this has been carrying out for so long.
I was reading about it, and this apparently can be a sign of pregnancy. The last time I had sex was about two-three weeks ago. The male had difficulty staying erect with a condom, so he took it off and we proceeded to have sex without it for less than a minute (I said that he should put it back on, and he did so without argument).
I have done this a few times in the past without getting pregnant, for I'm almost positive that no precum had entered my vagina. However, I'm not really sure how to tell. And, if my last sexual partner had erection problems, does this affect precum at all?
Any feedback would greatly be appreciated, but please keep the "you shouldn't be blah blah.." to a minimum.
Thanks!

I put my patch on Saturday, so I only have one more day to go until I put another on....

BUT- I took my pants off just now to get in the shower, and my boyfriend points out that my patch was stuck to my pants..not me.

So I grabbed it quickly and stuck it back on, but it's not sticky at all in the middle, really only on two edges..

Can I put a new patch on early?
And what if it keeps falling off??

I'm worried, but I just need some advice and answers.

Hi! I have a question. I've missed my period since January, but yesterday I realized I was getting some stuff on my underwear. It's not RED blood and looks like it's dried up, brown blood. What's the deal? Is it like, old blood from the times I missed my periods or something? Somebody help! I couldn't find anything online.

It's heavy like a normal period, but it's just dried up and brown. I don't know what's going on!

FYI: I'm 17, my periods are mostly irregular, and I am sexually active.
