Hi everyone.Member me? I posted about a month or so ago about how I hadnt had my period for (at the time 3months)3months.Well I called the ob/gyn and talked to the doctor.....I was supposed to call back with a day I can come in.Never happened.She said the possibility of it being PCOS was slim....whatever...well I hadnt had the time to schedule an appointment because the clinic/"family planning center' that I go to is only open monday9-3 wednesday9-3,friday9-3 and saturday til noon.........thats fine and wonderful but both my jobs have me scheduled to where its impossible for me to make an appt.

Hi ladies,for the past week or so now my vagina has not been smelling like normal. i shower everyday but it still smells bad, its embarassing my boyfriend notices it too although he's understanding. Also when we have sex sometimes i feel a dull pain in the area below my belly button. do you think this copuld be a yeast infection or some other infection? i had a yeast infection before and it smelled differnet then this. It smells as if i havnet showered down there in awhile although i do! its getting me very frustrated, is there possibly anything my doctor can prescribe me? thanks for any help.

This might sound like a silly question, but is there any way to make a period shorter? As in exercise, certain foods, herbal stuff, etc?

I've already checked the archives and didn't see anything like this. I've been on the ring since Jan. 04. I'm due to take my ring out on Wednesday, and get my period next Sunday. However just a few minutes ago, I went to the bathroom, and took my ring out so that I could readjust it. Well, on the ring was blood. Gooey reddish blood, almost like I've already started my period. What gives? I have been stressed out really badly lately, but I don't know if that's it.

birth control in the cold

I went camping this weekend and it got very cold outside. Are my birth control pills still effective after that temperature change? I know heat can render them less effective, but what about cold?

I was just switched from Yasmin (since it stopped working for regularity on any leve) to the NuvaRing. For those who either are currently on it or were ever on it what did you like/not like about it or were there any issues with it? I am just curious since I did not really have enough time to ask my Doctor or her answers were really general. Thanks.

External Yeast Infection

Hey ladies

I think I may have an external YI. I checked the memories, but couldnt find anything about them.

What it is, really, is an itchy patch of red skin, about half an inch long and a quarter of an inch wide that is located right where my thigh meets my outer labia. I am not sure what to do about it, and wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions.
