Totally random question... for those of you who own a Diva Cup... how long did it take for it to arrive after you placed your order? (I know it says 1-2 weeks, but I'm curious about what your experience was)

a few posts back inspired this question.

ladies, could you please share your hymen breaking experiences?

I think this is mine:
when i was like 10 or 9 or 8 i fell off my bike and hit the seat pretty hard and my vulva hurted.
Well, when i went to the bathroom there was a half dollar sized spot of blood on my panties.
I put them in the laundry and my mom asked me if i had started my period.
i told her no, she said she was just curious b/c she noticed some blook in my underwear.

so, that must have been it??

I did not bleed the first time i had sex, either.

who has actually bled the first time they had sex?

I started Ortho Evra (the patch) two months ago, and I love it.

However.

I have been getting a bit of body acne, which doesn't bother me that much, but is a pain none-the-less. Will it go away, or should I change my BC again? Also, do any of you know of a good, reasonably priced acne body wash that I could get at the Walgreens or some other pharmacy over the counter?

So, I'm 14, and I've been a member of VP for around a year now (singlehandedley, you guys not only rested my yestie but convinced me that yes, it IS okay for girlies to watch porn :), and now I'm dying for a DivaCup/Keeper.

Problem is, they seem to be VERY similiar if not identical, and...well, that's more than a little confusing when it comes to which to buy.

Whats the difference between the two? This may be hard to answer since I gather many women here use one but not the other, nonetheless, I'd like to know.

On another note, curiously so...I was looking around LJ Communities and found one on penises, cybersex, whatever..and I was looking at a couple pictures and it just kind of hit me -- why aren't penises as beautiful as vaginas? Haha, odd, but really now -- vaginas just give off this beautiful, empowering image, the birthing of mankind and the ability to create life -- present for thousands of years in the Pagan Goddess -- but a man's penis is just a dong and creates a sort of "Ew, what a pervert" feeling. Perhaps its not the penis, but the beholder of the penis. For instance, a vagina wouldn't be as beautiful if it's carrier were not as proud of it's beauty.

Okay, okay, off topic. But thank you!

Well.. Since my last period ended (February 19) I've been having cramps (kind of like when I have my period) and some.. pressure around my lower abdomen. I also get some feelings of nausousia. And when I eat one thing I feel very full.. and have shortness of breath. I'm really wondering why this is happening. And I was hoping you all could help me out! :) Thanks.

I'm in need of some good lube to make things go smoother. KY Liquid gets sticky too fast. Wet gets sticky even faster. Uberlube (yes, that's what it's actually called) is just awesome but tooooo expensive at $22 for a bottle! What's a good lube that doesn't get sticky that I can get for $8/bottle or less?

I just had my pap the other day and it turns out that I have a mild case of vaginitis - is that similar or the same as a yeast infection? I'm wondering about that.

Anyway, on to my real question.

I noticed earlier that I have something - like a zit, maybe - right on my labia. It doesn't hurt (much), but it does hurt enough for me to notice it. I haven't had sex in nearly two years so that's not it. (Can't wait for that conjugal visit...woohoo!) Should I call my doctor again if it gets worse? Should I call her now? And most importantly, is it anything to worry about?

Thanks in advance.

yesterday i had sex with my boyfriend without a condom. it's okay, i'm taking the pill.
the thing is that the first intercourse was okay, we both had and orgasm but we both felt my vagina wasn't very lubricated.
so after a couple of hours we did it again and after this time my vagina started aching a bit, and i looked at with with a mirror and it was kinda red.
and after the third time i felt my vegina very itchy and with a small pain.
today i woke up and still have that feeling. now it itches more than it hurts.
i'm going to my gynecologist on monday, but still, what do you guys think it might be? could it be because of the lack of lubrication?

Er, ok, im gunna try to exaplin this the best way that i can...
About a year ago, i comfronted my step mom about something that i had been worrying about. I was noticing some changes in the smell of my vagina and stuff like that; it smelled...not bad, but not pleasant either. It was just, a..."wierd smell". I was noticing that i was getting ALLLOOOTTTT of discharge. For some reason, and i know this may seem odd, but like in gym class, when i ran alot, after gym, i would go to the bathroom, and i would have so much discharge that it would leave a "wet stain" in my shorts and underwear. [By the way, i was no sexually active at the time]
ANYWAYS, my step mom took me to the doctors so we could see what was up. During the appointment, my doctor asked if id ever had sex. I said no, because, i really hadent. Then she asked if i had engaged in any oral sex. I said no. Which was a lie(i had gone down on 2 different guys). She ended giving me a ?pap smear? not sure if thats what its called but, she tested me for un-needed bacteria inside of me that may be causing the smells and stuff, and it came out negative. According to the test, nothing was wrong with me. Although it came out negative, my doc gave me medicine to help treat bacterial vagnious, or whatever (BV). I finished the WHOLE bottle...nothing happened.
So now, its a year later and this crap is still happening. The smell is SOOOOO strong, but..mabye its just me....?
First of all, i wanna comfront my step mom about going to the doctors. This isnt very easy for me, im shy about these things. And good ideas on how i should comfront her about it????
If i do end up going, what will my doc do if i tell her all the same crap is still going on, BUT i tell her the truth about my sexual life(ive had sex now). I know she cant tell my stepmom no matter what, but if she wants to test me for STD's or something, will she have to tell my stepmom about it?
One last thing; if i were to really have BV, but for some reason the medicince didnt work(obviously), would the symptoms of BV gotten worse, and could i be in "danger" of some long term "injuries" if this is true??? Any one know all the symptoms for BV?

Im just so nervous, i dont wanna have a STD or somthing...
Someone please help...

This is more to do with the anus, but I figure because it's the vagina's neighbor and everyone here was so helpful with my butt-plug question that I might get some answers here. Thank you girls.

This is the case: I want to have anal sex with my partner + participate in anal play.  We have a butt-plug (a purple one at that), and it's cute and not scary or too big.  We're going to start with the plug before we move to anal sex, which we tried once and it didn't work too well.

I'm deathly afraid of shit in bed.  I don't want to see it, smell it, taste it, feel it (or hear it if that's possible).  I practice awesome anal hygiene (washing and shaving and generally being good about it), and yet I still have a problem.

When I lube up my finger, or it's just wet and I stick it in my anus, there's feces there!  Just little lumps of it, about the size of jelly beans, maybe 2 or 3 of them.  I eat a high-fiber diet, try not to strain when I make a bowel movement, etc etc.  I can't seem to just shit them out, it's like they're stuck... I can do an enema to get them out but even after that if I stick my finger in really far I can feel a bowel movement... and I can't evacuate it on command.

I'm not opposed to enemas, I actually perform them regularly (even though that's not recommended I really like the sensation).  It's possible that my body has gotten lazy and just doesn't know how to move it's bowels on it's own.  I've also been anorexic and that really messes with your digestive tract.

Anyways, what do I do to get rid of this problem?  The only thing I can think of is using a laxative and then fasting until the act, but that just doesn't seem like a healthy thing to do, giving my history of eating disorders.  I think I'll stop performing enemas unless they are necessary and that should help.  Any other ideas?

x-posted, sorry!  Thank you so much.

Peeing?

Ok, I know this isn't exactly vagina related, but I wanted to ask:

Does anyone else have to lean forward when they pee, or else they'll pee out of the bowl?

Queefs

So, I was looking around through VP, and someone mentioned a thing called "Queefs". I was curious, and began to think about it, and suddenly realized what they were -- the "vagina farts" I was just about to ask about in a new post!

(I'd feel stupider right now if I turned out to be wrong, but, whatever.)

Anyways...what are/what causes Queefs? It's a weird sensation, feeling a bubble of gas pop out of your second pair of lips.

I am uncertain as to whether this has been posted here or not, but here's a quick caveat to posters. This isn't intended to frighten anyone away from making a post, but as a heads-up to make sure everyone knows what's going on.

Evidently, there is some website called Frienditto which permits a user with an LJ account to sign in and then archive all posts made in a community or user journal. This includes friends-locked posts, meaning that a private post can be made essentially public. Go here for more info on the Frienditto hacking scam and what to do if you think some disreputable person has hacked into your locked posts. Also, the entries in the Ditto_cops journal list the journals that have been submitted - Vaginapagina was one of them, so I came here to let the community know. I didn't see a post addressing this yet (I looked back a page or two) but if I've double posted, I apologize.

Edit: Okay, after two comments about being an alarmist, that's not what I was intending to sound like. I just figured it'd be nice if someone let this community know that private posts on this community have been posted over at Frienditto, in case anyone actually cares. Most people know that LJ isn't terribly secure. Doesn't mean that they shouldn't know this is going on if they haven't seen anything about it yet.
