Well not quite. But I'm kind of doing a little experiment. I'm guessing that just like with the pill.. if you put another patch on the week you're supposed to skip, you won't get your period? Shall we see how this goes?

If you know anything: precautions, you've already done it, let me know.

Thanks. Woo.

Vatican City - Masturbation is like owning a Ferrari and driving only in first gear, a senior Catholic theologian said in an article published Wednesday.

"Driving only in first gear, not only do you prevent the Ferrari expressing its full power, but gradually you wear it out and thereby ruin a masterpiece of technology," Father Giordano Muraro wrote in the magazine Vita Pastorale.

I am just starting to use my newly purchased MoonCup. I am having some trouble (expected) and pain (more than expected), but overall am hopeful.

I would like some feedback, specific to my experiences.

I've read some general reviews and so on, but most seem to have been written a while after the person first started using the MoonCup or Keeper or DivaCup, etc. and aren't very detailed. I'd like to hear specific thoughts, minor happenings, and so on.

Did it hurt? Putting it in? Taking it out? Did you ever have any major problems? Did you ever feel discouraged? Tempted to give up? Did you? How long did it take you to get used to it, to be quick at putting it in and out and skilled at making the seal, etc.? Did you ever hurt yourself after you got used to it?

I would like some comments to my personal experiences, which I'm posting in my own journal, and saving in a memories category:

EarningTails' MoonCup Memories: Comments Wanted

I will continue posting daily to that journal.

Hi there 'Gina Lovin' Chicks! I have a perplexing situation that I thought I should ask you all about...

For about two weeks now (about as long as I have been OFF the pill), it has actually hurt me to have sex... My vagina doesn't hurt per say, but up inside me past my cervix, deep inside there, is SUPER tender and aches, and I can't even receive full penetration without wincing in ouch! pain... I don't have any funky discharge or any abnormal smell going on... It almost feels sometimes like my ovaries are popping and/or my uterus is way tender... Am I gettin' it on too much? Too hard? I definitely dig doin' it :) but am I overdoin' it??? My lower abdomen HUUUUUURTS when I push on it, it's even tender when I walk!

This has never happened to me before and I am kind of freaked out, having no insurance OR money right now. I need to go to Planned Parenthood, but to find the time... ARGHHH. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Has anyone ever experienced the same symptoms?

Thanks! :o)

So, I cut the last of my stem off my cup last month because it was still sometimes irritating and I didn't need it - or so I thought.
I went to take it out this morning and I had to re-position it first because it had tipped all the way to the side - with the stem it would tip to the side too but the stem would stick in my vaginal walls and I assume stopped it from tipping over. I've checked it again tonight and it has tipped over again, I haven't leaked yet because I suppose it is plugging up my vagina, however if it were to move a bit more inside me it could well lead to leaking.
I think I am going to have to buy a new Mooncup now - which is a pain.
Why would it have tipped over like that, do you think I'm going to have to buy a new one?

i'm kind of full of a few questions that i need some help with. i know i should talk to my doctor about it, but she's not really available at this hour nor till midweek, so i'm going to the next best source (you guys). <3.

i was told that i tested positive for strep, and was given some amoxicilian to treat it. upon reading up on strep and asking around, i was told that it usually is not treated unless you're pregnant & about to have a baby. -- which i'm not. -- so why am i being treated for it? i haven't been taking the antibiotics regularly (life is hectic and unscheduled at the moment) and i'm not really wanting to treat the strep if i don't have to, because i heard it wasn't harmfull and was generally left untreated.

i was also told that i had a yeast infection. i had experienced mild itching ocassionally, but nothing big. i took a diflucan. two antibiotic pills were taken the same day after the diflucan, no more since. that was last monday. i was told to take the second diflucan i was prescribed on the following monday (oct 27). what my question is, if i took a diflucan, why am i still having some itching once in a while? it's not a constant thing, but it does itch and burn when i sit on my gina wrong (as it has with past yeastiebeasties), and my gina has a stronger smell to her. it's not a bad odor, for real, it's just like my 'scent' is stronger or something. it's not bothersome to my fiance, and i don't mind it, it's just a bit stronger than usual so i don't know if it's related to the yeast or not. in any case, why am i still experiencing symptoms after taking a diflucan? ps; i have no stds or other infections. thank you.

any help would be great.
love,
kylie.
