Okay, it's possible that this question has been answered in the archives, however i looked and couldn't find it specifically, so i'm going to ask. if it is, I appologize in advance, but it is 1:30am and i'm about 1/2 asleep.

i'm pretty sure i have a UTI, you just get a feeling about those things after you've had a few, and i'm wondering if:

A: There is any truth to the rumor that condoms with spermicidal lubricants can trigger UTI's
B: The fact that i recently started having sex with my b/f has anything to do with it
C: There are any other at-home remedies to take the edge off until i go to the Dr. besides cranberry juice *which i hate* and lots of water.

thank you in advance for all of your help, again I appologize if this question has been addressed in the archives.

hi, im Cassie, im 17, and this is my first post.
i have had my period since i was 14 and im regular as the moon.
im VERY lucky, as in i dont get cramps, PMS, heavy flow, or any of the unplesent stuff. i am not at all sexualy active, and i have never had a bactreial, yeast, or uniary trac infection.
the problem?
when should i get my first pelvic exam. i have heard when you become sexaly active (preferable when you plan to start) or when you turn 18.
is this a good rule of thumb?
in the next month or so i may be visiting a boy that i am in a non-relaionship with...as in, we would be a couple but we are far apart. if something were to happen (if if if) should i go ahead and get an exam before i go?
condoms are a no brainer.
also any tips on asking your potential partner to get tested?
its something that i will ask him to do, no if ands or buts. but how does one get to that conversation tacfuly? he has been sexualy active and i havent...

if this isnt relavent you can trash it.
i would appriciate any advise, information, ect...
thanks!

I just made a post recently about starting on NuvaRing. I made a comment about taking it out for three hours in a twenty-four hour period, and was told by irememberaurora that according to another post made here that the three hour period of removal was not for a twenty-four hour period, but rather for the whole month. Since I was told differently by two doctors and a nurse, I called the NuvaRing help line (1-877-NUVARING/1-877-688-2746) and decided to find my answers there. I talked to a representative and was told that it can be taken out for up to three hours within a twenty-four hour period and that the time did not mean you can only take it out for three hours during the entire month.

I know other girls here use this product, so I thought this might be useful.

does anyone in here know about herbal methods of inducing abortion?

I just found out I am about 4 weeks pregnant. I have 2 weeks until my scheduled abortion, but I would LOVE to do something else in the safety and privacy of my own home, a-la inga in Cunt.

your help or direction towards any one/community who could is greatly appriciated.

FIRST TIME POSTER HERE

so i was wondering, i have this weird white-ish discharge... but here's the catch... it seems as if it's coming out of somewhere around my clitoris. it's definitely not around my vaginal opening, it doesnt have a real liquid consistency, it's more chunky... kinda. i know that sounds gross, but i've had it for as long as i could remember. i'm not sexually active, i've been fingered... once, and that's as far as anything has gone. like i said, i've had this for as long as i can remember, i'm 17 now, and i can remember it when i was young, as in 6, 7, and 8. nothing's painful, i mean, i clean it, but it always comes back, and when i look hard enough, it seems as if it's coming out of the clitoris itself... sorry if that was too graphic, but please, if you can, offer me some sort of answer as to what this is??

are certain people more prone to getting yeast infections, or am i just taking really awful care of my vagina?

i got my first yeast infection last year, at the end of july. i tried the otc stuff, but it came back two weeks later, finally went to my doctor, got some diflucan and it was gone in a week. this summer i got one in august, went straight to the diflucan, no real problems. i started drinking cranberry juice regularly, but stopped a few weeks ago because we ran out, and i thought i'd be safe once we got out of the hot and humid weather. but i've got ANOTHER ONE now. is it abnormal to have them so frequently (within 2 months)? should i be worried or should i just start drinking more cranbery juice?

thanks for any help...

I got a horizontal clitoral hood piercing.

now, I have to say that I was getting it done primarily for the pleasure factor, but now that it's there, I find myself looking at, noticing, and playing with my vulva quite a bit more. it's made me very aware of what's going on down there.

just thought I'd share... sorry if I wasted space.
