i have a few questions for you gals.

i always get nasty nasty toilet paper-remnants stuck in my labia and around my clit. it's like lint that gets clumped together, almost. not huge chunks. it doesnt have to do with the hair, because its pretty darn short down there. i just don't know what to do about this. are there any specific kinds of toilet paper that will stop this? it's awful, i hate it so much.

second: i'm on birth control (ortho), and im also taking antibiotics for a sinus infection. i just got my period last week... my mom told me that antibiotics interfere w/BC's effectiveness. i just wnated to know if it would interfere for a length of time after i stop taking the antibiotics? because i dont want to get pregnant. yikes! oh yeah, also, i'm still bleeding a very very little bit, and this never happens (my period should have ended on sunday). is this because of the antibiotics, or is there something wrong?

thanks! :D

yes antibiotics do interfere with BC... scary. when i worked at the women's clinic they would alway recommend using BC with an alternative, ie, condoms, etc... for at least one full cycle of pills... that's just what was recommended...

yes there are a lot of things that are better than a baby.... well at this point in our lives anyway :) aren't there condoms out for sensitive skin?? maybe it was a dream i had. i hope this helped somewhat...

if you go to a local planned parenthood, they should have condoms for you. The one in my area does- you just have to ask.

i would recommend a non-linty toliet paper to solve your problem. the quilted one's are notoriously bad about leaving bits.

be really careful about bc/antibiotics. my friend just had a bad scare because of them. good luck.

I used to have the TP problem as well- I hated it. I got it to end by patting myself dry (how does one put that politely!?). It is also benificial to pat because it is less abrasive to the sensitve skin *grin*.

i bought cheap toilet paper. i know that sounds like a bad thing. but I LOVE scott tissue. i forever got lint stuck too. it's beause the "quilted" paper isn't quite perfected. the scott tissue is soft but doesn't leave lint, ever. and it's MUCH cheaper. that was my solution..

also. i find it very disheartening at
a. girls aren't asking if things will interfere with their current medications
b. doctors aren't volunteering the information and asking about their current medications...
