first gyno trip, cervix hard to find?

I went to the gyno for the first time and it took her like 15 minutes and couple speculums and lots of lube to even get kinda in there and she couldn't even see my cervix. She said it was just some peoples anatomy but I couldn't help but wonder if it was me. She couldn't open the device very far and said I kept pushing the device out. She said it was behind my pelvis bone and to the side.

It never hurt at all and she was super gentle. Is this a hymen issue? Are some peoples cervix just harder to see?
I was scared and tense so I'm sure that made it hard.

Any tips to make it better?
