i feel like such shit. i'm going through one super absorbancy tampon every hour or two. i'm filling them up. i also have a lot of clotting and awful cramps.
ugh. you probably feel like you will, but you probably won't. ~comforts~ hemmoraging is usually a pad every 15 minutes, IIRC. i'm terrified that that might happen to me when i get my IUD in. :( does using a pad help ease the cramps? how long has this been going on for?
it's been all day, but it's been six months since i've cycled regularly, and this one is forced, so i was expecting it. i know i won't die, but man alive, i don't feel good.
If you'll take ibuprofen, that often helps with cramps. Besides being an analgesic, it imitates certain prostaglandins and actually helps step back the cramping a bit. Bed and a heating pad or hot water bottle always helps me feel better too.
If you don't want to take ibuprofen, then Evening Primrose Oil replaces prostaglandins too. It never worked as well for me as a couple of Advil, though.
ouch *hug* that doesnt sound nice at all :( i have a magazine infront of me about period problems.. it says you should go and see a doctor if you have very heavy or painful periods incase its fibroids or emdometriosis. It may well not be but I'm sure it'd be better to know for sure, right? And to make the hurt stop of course.
