leg cramps during period?

I usually get cramps for the first day or two of my period, and when I'm experiencing the sharpest cramping, I also get cramping all down the front of my right thigh muscle. I only ever get this pain when I'm having period cramps, and I really don't know why this is. Does anyone else have this happen?
