I have a couple of small warts on my mons pubis. A couple of days ago I noticed a dark spot on or next to the largest wart. I just looked on google and found this "Non-functional blood vessels that have inadvertently grown into warts can often be seen as tiny black spots in the wart."

I have no pain or anything, just want to make sure it's not something I have to worry about.
Will it continue to stay dark as long as the wart is still present or will it eventually go away?

I don't know about the blood vessel issue, but genital warts are typically caused by HPV, and it's definitely a good idea to keep a close-eye on anything HPV related because it can cause Cervical Cancer. If you have health insurance, you might talk with your doctor about this issue, if not, you can use Planned Parenthood. Either way, it's good to keep HPV monitored. Also, your doc can prescribe you anti-retroviral drugs that you can take either to cure break-outs (e.g. warts) specifically when they occur, or on a regular schedule to prevent break-outs from ever occurring in the first place. This is a good idea not only for you, but also for your partners.
