My labia (both inner and outer) are all red and irritated because I didn't shave for a few days and got some killer stubble. Now that I've shaved, can anyone recommend a vagina-safe product or ingredient that I can put on my bits to soothe them? My aloe gel contains glycerine, so I'm hesitant to put it down there.

If you decide not to shave again, I've found that any hand cream you're comfortable with down there can be used to soften the stubble so it doesn't poke you.

Pure aloe vera gel should be all right.

I often use coconut oil or glaxal base. I like coconut oil because of its antifungal properties (I get a lot of yeast infections), but I find glaxal base more soothing. It smells pretty strong though (I'm sure no one can smell it though).

I also sometimes use a calendula salve.

Hope this helps!
