Everyone here is super helpful here, and so sweet, so I'm comfortable asking you all this:
does anyone have experience with chlamydia? What were your/your partner's symptoms?
What I first thought was a simple yeast infection, then BV hasn't cleared up or even gotten better after 4 days of boric acid caps or months of hydrogen peroxide/ACV/Monistat.
Also, I noticed that my boyfriend's semen tastes baaaaaaad. Like, make my throat hurt and tongue tingle. Tingle bad.
I'm super sore and I'm getting my results back Thursday on my tests.
Help?

I had no symptoms. I found out because I went to the gyno for a routine appointment and she did the test because they have to. I read somewhere that it's actually rare to have symptoms. Only about 30% of women have any. That being said, I read it can make semen taste bad because of the discharge.

I got treated for a uti around the time i was diagnosed with chlamydia. The test didn't show it was a uti, but the meds helped. It's possible it was the chlamydia. Pretty classic UTI symptoms though, Constant urge to urinate, couldn't urinate that much, it was horrible. Other than that though, I would never have known.

I had only one symptom which was unusual grey/silver discharge which turned up a day or so after I had unsafe sex with a new partner (lesson learned!).

It was very strange - I went straight to the doc because I had the weirdest gut feeling that I had picked up something despite there being nothing obviously wrong. This was in Australia. Lovely Aussie doc said that intuition was enough for her so she tested for everything. In her experience a lot of women just know something is wrong - so don't ignore that inner warning signal your body is sending you.

If you are positive, the treatment is easy and quick and works. Also, the most important thing about the treatment was to come back and get retested to make sure it had worked. It did. Happy ending.

I hope you and your partner get checked out and are okay.
