vaginapaginaI started nuvaring about 3 weeks ago. I am on the 3rd week now. I am starting to have a problem with acne. My face skin was fine before I started it. I only got the random zit when I was on my period. I haven't been on any hbc for the last 2 and a half years. I am just wondering if anyone else who is using nuvaring has had a problem with acne? And if you did have a problem in the beginning did it go away as your body got use to nuvaring? Nuvaring is kinda the only option for me right now and if this acne keeps up I am going to have to come off of it.

I don't recall how my skin reacted to starting the NuvaRing, but when I first got my Mirena, I had persistent cystic acne and oily skin for six months or so. It settled down within a year, and now (18 months in) I have very clear skin.
