Brown discharge after masturbating?

Alright. So.

I'm 20 years old, and I've never had sex. I'm pretty sure I have a microperforate hymen, because I've never been able to get anything in there and when I check it out it looks like there are 2-3 small holes. I'm going to make a gyno appointment to verify it, but here's my real question: I almost always have brown discharge after I masturbate (I only use clitoral stimulation when I masturbate, so I'm sure I'm not tearing/scratching anything). Could it be blood left over from my period? I'm taking Seasonique, so my periods are once every 3 months and I still get the discharge no matter when I masturbate. Could it be at all connected to the fact that I have a microperforate hymen, or is it kind of a normal thing? I'll ask the doctor about it when I go, but I just want to see if any of you have any ideas.

It could be a totally normal thing, that your uterus spits out a little old stuff each time, or it could be that the microperforate state of your hymen is keeping all the blood from getting out before some goes "old" and that's how it's showing up.

Either way, it's unlikely to be a sign of something bad!

Good luck with the doctor! Remember that if you get one who is an unsympathetic jerk, you can "fire" them and get a new one.

Yeah, I was kind of thinking that the hymen could be keeping it in there longer. I wouldn't think blood would still be being pushed out after three months. :/

I see similar posts here from time to time that don't seem to be related to microperforate hymen. So it could just be that uterine contractions are pushing out a bit of old blood when you masturbate. But it could be being made worse if your hymen is blocking some of the blood from your regular bleeds.
