I am on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. In August I successfully skipped my period and all was well until September. I bled for most of the month of September until my actual 'period' started. Everything about it was normal except that my flow was very, very light, especially compared to what I usually have. The bleeding ended and had another 'period' begin last Wednesday. Everything was normal about this one too, except that my flow was very light again. Although I love that I have barely bled for the last two, I am a little worried about it. Is it just due to the fact that I messed around with my birth control and my body is taking some time to readjust, or should I run to the store and buy all of their pregnancy tests?

As you probably know, stacking on a triphasic is tricker than on a monophasic, so breakthrough bleeding is very expected. And stacking in general is something not all uteruses will abide with. And HBC often lightens bleeds just in general. So combined with breakthrough bleeding and HBC, a light withdrawal bleed is unlikely to be anything to worry about.

If you're still worried and in the US, Dollar Tree Store pregnancy tests, according to peeonastick.com, are quite good.
