argh

OK so I got up today and I am soaking through ultra absorbency tampons in 2 hours. I am not having any really bad cramps or anything, but I just feel gross because of this super super super heavy flow. I mean... it's like Niagra falls of blood up in here. Any suggestions? :( Bleh.

I just finished my last cycle and it was like that. I was mildly anemic from it too. Try eating some iron rich foods and that may help the gross feeling for a bit (It worked for me).

i had that happen once before my hysterectomy and it went on and on and on and i ended up in the ER. it was awful. they gave me hormones to make it stop.
hope yours is just a fluke and goes away on its own.

If you soak through an ultra tampon in an hour, that's a lot. Might be a good idea to give a doc a call.

I had that happen to me a couple of years ago. I started using a menstrual cup to help keep up with the heaviness. I'm also anemic. I take iron pills and try to eat foods high in iron. Consulting your doctor can't hurt.

i just had my iud removed the other day & i swear this is the devil of all freaking periods! i had a clot like the size of a half dollar the other day & i just had to stare at it and wanted to poke the thing it was so disgusting looking
