Does anyone know if Seasonale, the 13-week pill, is available for prescription yet? And has anyone tried it/asked their doctors? I don't have a gynecologist because my GP does all my Pap smears and stuff, but she didn't know. I've decided having my period six days out of every twenty-eight (on Ortho-Cyclen ... on the previous pills it was seven, and seven to ten without anything) is too many, and I'd like to rectify that if I can. ;-)

It doens't have to be Seasonale, you can do that with any monophasic BCP.

The onyl thing I would worry about is that even if it's available, insurance may not cover a new pill. I know my insurance covered Novum777, and that was IT, so I had to pay $35 every three weeks for OTC.

From what I had read of Seasonale, it's the same as very low-dose pills like Alesse.
