I looked this up and didn't find what I was looking for.
Your "period" on The Pill is just withdrawal bleeding correct? Assuming this is correct, would you still get your "period" if you were pregnant and on the pill?

Date: 2003-10-22 10:02 pm (UTC)Birth control pills are hormones that trick your body into not ovulating (in essence, it makes your body think that you are pregnant and no longer need to ovulate). If you are pregnant, your body is already producing these pregnancy hormones anyway, so you're basically getting a double dose if you're pregnant and taking the pill.

Of course, I do prefere to know the dangers & risks, no matter how small, so as to walk into things with my eyes open. Maybe I've just met too many "pill-babies".
