what exactly is herbal abortion? i'm so confused, but you got me so interested. the thing is that i saw different videos of actual abortions and what happens inside with different procedures. i got so sick i changed from pro-choice to against abortion, but i think about myself and i'm just so afraid. well, i have a lot of stuff in mind and suffice to say i have things floating around in my head i'd really like to know more about this.i went to both websites, but since you've read it i'd like to know what it is...do you send cash?

what exactly made you turn to being anti-abortion?? there is some element of grossness to any surgery. i'd be grossed out watching anyone's knee surgery, for example. i've seen several abortion procedures and they weren't any grosser than other surgeries that i've seen on tv.

it sounds like you're not set in stone on your stance on abortion. i'm really interested to hear what made you change your mind.

an herbal abortion is using herbs to expel the sperm & egg from your uterus. there are herbs that make your cramps go away, and there are herbs called emmenagogues that make your period come early. and there are abortificient herbs that make sperm & egg detach from the uterine wall, or prevent them from embedding (and resulting in a pregnancy) in the first place.

sending cash is fine. the pamphlet will explain it more.

you're right. i'm not too sure about my stance on abortion, it's just i just saw how sad it is. taking limbs apart, burning the layer of skin to deliver a dead baby, vacumming out...blah blah blah. it's just so sad, i guess because they had their digits i got sick. it was like a real person already, so i guess the first chance i got pregnant i'd do the herbal abortion so as to not hurt myself because there are also risks to the woman with different procedures of abortion. i've thought about what i'd do if i were to be pregnant...i don't want children especially not now, but i wouldn't just do it because of a stupid mistake i did, but because i wouldn't want the child to suffer with any kind of negligence or anything so i believe it would be better off dead than with a struggling mother. but this herbal contraceptive sounds like it could change my mind.

what kind of video was it you saw? a lot of times anti-abortion protestors will put together propaganda that is actually stillborn or miscarried babies instead of fetuses that are aborted. it's like all this trouble going on with banning "late term abortions" - about 1% of all "late term abortions" are done by women who don't want the baby. the rest are done because of health risks to the mother or the fetus. that's why most doctors are really against the ban, because they use it when it's imperative for the survival of the mother.

anyway, my point is i wanted to make sure what you saw was actually an elective abortion. fetuses usually aren't that developed when they're aborted.

having a baby shouldn't be a punishment, like "oh, i made a mistake and got pregnant, i should live with the consequences." it sounds like that's how your viewing it. also, not all abortions happen because of mistakes or carelessness - there's also rape and failed birth control to account for.

there are so many unwanted children in the world. i'd never want to bring in another one. if i have a baby it's going to be because i want to be a mother and i am ready to have a child. it won't be because a condom broke and i didn't want to take responsibility in the form of getting an abortion.

so it probably wasn't even an abortion you saw. it was probably a miscarriage or a stillborn. sometimes those videos are digitally enhanced, too. total propaganda to make people think that's what abortion is like, when in fact it's totally different.

this pamphlet has all the standard warnings - like that you should read more than just this book (although it's the most compete & comprehensive i've ever seen), you need to make a clinical appointment that you can cancel later in case the herbal abortion doesn't work, it can be taxing to your system, never take essential oils, etc. i just didn't include a bunch of warnings here because the pamphlet itself covers them all - including one i've forgotten, which is "just because it's 'natural' doesn't mean it's not potentially dangerous!"

i'd definitely love to hear which herbal books you think are good. i've read so many of them that my head is swimming these days. i am saddened to see so much knowledge lost when books just say "unsafe for consumption" without saying why -- like that it can produce abortion or make you high or whatever. i know sometimes it's easier, but there are plenty of people who are wise enough to make their own choices on how to take an herb.

i have a few friends who've successfully had herbal abortions without consulting herbalists. i know so many great herbalists i would talk to as many as i could about it.

it's something some feminists do. not me personally though. some of them like it because it takes the "men" out of "women" but others have different reasons.
