Okay, mamacitas -- I'm on my way for my regularly scheduled Pap smear, at which point, the nurse-practitioner is going to see my lack of IUD, leading to a pre-pregnancy conversation, I'm sure.

Is there anything I should expect to be tested/checked for, or ask to be tested/checked for before trying to get pregnant? [I got tested for everything about two years ago, when I met my husband and we both got a clean bill of health before throwing our condoms away, and neither of us have been with anyone else since then.]

you should look at your Rh factors to determine whether that's going to be an issue. good to know before hand. other than that, i can't think of much. start taking your folic acid now. :)

Oh, yeah - I had it out almost a month ago. It was really easy, too - just a quick crampy feeling and it was done.
