This is sort of a poll/question for any girls that have had sex with other girls before.

About 1.5 years ago I started dating my first and current girlfriend. After we became sexually active I noticed that my vagina had started to smell like hers. I thought that was pretty weird and I was a little sad, because I liked my own unique vagina smell the way it always had been. Nothing like that had ever happened when I started having sex with different guys. I've gone through a lot of vagina health things since then, but only once has my smell ever gone back to the way it was and it changed back to her smell (or like her smell) eventually.  I was thinking it might be because our diets became similar, but I feel like she adapted my diet more than the other way around.

Has anyone else had or noticed this before?

well I've noticed the same thing with all my past partners ( all women, never played with the boys) and I've noticed it's stronger now with my currant girlfriend. This is also my longest relationship and I have had much more oral/finger sex with her (both giving and receiving in fact we never use toys) AND I've noticed a lot of the times when we are kissing the taste of her saliva/inside of her mouth is similar to her vagina. I think that may have something have something to do with it, and yes your diet can change the way you taste/smell. HAS anyone else noticed that a woman's mouth/saliva taste similar to her vagina?

well I've always noticed that both changed, it wasn't noticeable all the time. Then again in the past I used toys often, and even had times where there was very little or no oral sex (just some finger rubs to get things wet) I have a very acute sense of smell/taste, and so does my gfriend now and we both notice we smell alike. Well there are both considered mucus membranes and both excrete a lot of fluid. I'm not an expert by any means medically, but it is something I've always noticed.

yeah it may just be your girl has a less acute sense of smell or wasn't paying attention and didn't notice.

I never really paid attention personally :P

But I would imagine the diet thing would contribute a lot to it :)

I would say now with her with unless she tastes like gum or she just brushed her teeth/used mouth wash, her mouth tastes very much like her vagina. Just not nearly as strong, it's more of a hint of a taste. OH hahaha....well she is certainly not dry like a raisin (bad joke but had to say it) ok this is personal but do you and your girl rub your lady parts together? or have you ever?

When I've used garlic in my vag for a yeast infection, I tasted garlic in my mouth a few minutes after putting it in. Makes sense it would work in reverse, too.

Isn't that how they used to test for pregnancy in ancient Eygpt? A woman would eat clove of raw garlic. An hour later they'd smell her vaginal fluid - if it smelt of garlic she wasn't pregnant, if it didn't, she was.

Wonder if it works?!

Havent been with a girl long term so I can't help with that but my boyfriend is very, very pleasant tasting (it's a nice change from all the guys who make me retch!). With him I've noticed the saliva connection.
I've always been really sweet but recently I've noticed we now both taste quite similar, yet we always use condoms and don't live together, so have very different diets. I'm not complaining - we still both taste pretty damn good!

I wonder if it has anything to do with mingling vaginal flora?

This exact same thing has happened to me. At first I thought I was imagining it, but now I know it's true.

I think the vaginal flora theory is most likely. Even if you haven't been scissoring or anything, maybe the bacteria can get in through other skin-to-skin contact and colonize.
