2 kinda funny stories in hindsite

Well.. I'm new to this community as you already probably know, and I've already posted about my stupid lopsided boobs.

Anyways, I just thought I'd share w/ you a couple of funny stories.. they were not funny at the time.. lol.

Have any of you ever had poison ivy down there? I got it once when I was like 17 and I thought I was dying! I thought I must have cancer and that's why I was getting so swollen. On top of being EXTREMELY itchy (worse than a yeast infection) my labia minora were getting extremely engorged to the point of being tender because they were so big. They looked like little red balls! (OUCH) It made walking horrible because my pants would irritate my lips and itch them causing them to be itchier and itchier to the point where I would just go to the bathroom and itch myself.. lmao! *making sure to wash my hands afterwards of course* lol.

Anyway, I had poison ivy on my hands and face *I had gone camping the previous weekend, and I just HAD to pee in a poison ivy bush* I went to the doctor, because I have extreme reactions to poison ivy *obviously* so they gave me a shot of anti-histamines and put me on steroids. Within an hour I was feeling SO much better and the swelling was going down. I could WALK!

I only wish that I had gone to the doctor sooner.

Another funny story is this.

A friend of mine had a yeast infection and her mom bought her those monistat 3 things where the creme is already in it and you just insert it in yourself kinda like a tampon.. You all know how you're supposed to remove the blue lid thingy right? She didn't.. DUH! So it turned out she had 3 little blue thingies up in her vagina and meanwhile she's in pain because she keeps feeling sharp pokes.

A few days later she got sick of it and started digging around in herself, and look what she pulled out! 3 blue things! She told me this and I about died..

I've never had poison ivy in my vulva, but I've certainly had poison oak there, including in childhood.

once i had poison ivy on the mound part, so it wasnt as bad as what youve described, but it itched like crazy. i told a friend and she tried to convince me i had syphillis (we were only about 14)
