Okay, last month I my vagina became rather sore and itchy and burned slightly. I made a doctors appointment, then got my period and the symptoms went away. I still went to the doctor and told her how I felt and she said that it sounded like a yeast infection, and gave me Diflucan. Well, I took it, even though my symptoms were already gone and nothing happened until this month.

I got a prescription from my dermatologist for erythromicin(sp?) a antibiotic given to treat a number of things, mine was for acne. I only took one pill, because it made me feel rather weird. So, about the three days later, itchiness and redness began and then it started to burn really bad. I thought that I'd wait till my period started, but it was four days late. When it did come, it just made all the symptoms worse than they were before I got my period.

Do you think I had a yeast infection the first time? Or was is something else that has now come back? I don't know what is going on and want to wait till my period is over to go to the doctor but the itch is something horrible. PLEASE HELP!
