has anyone ever used the birth control modi con?

I missed one pill this weekend, and I took it the next day with the regular pill for that day and now I am bleeding really heavy with lots of tissue discharge. this always happens to me, If I forget to take a pill for even one day I'll start bleeding for 2 weeks. does anyone think this is a cause or concern? or anyone have a similar situation? i know i should go to the gyno but it's so hard with school, interning, and working.

I was on brevicon for about 9 months which i believe is the generic form of modicon, im not totally sure. But i know the pills are very similar. Anyway, anytime i missed a pill, and took two pills in one day, i ALWAYS had break through bleeding, which drove me crazy. It's nothing to worry about, its just really really annoying. The best thing i found to avoid break through bleeding, was if i missed a pill, and had to take two pills in one day, i'd take one pill wait five minutes, and then take the next pill. and somehow it didn't cause break through bleeding. But after nine months i went off brevicon and onto another pill.

i'm on modicon.. i missed a pill once and had spotting for about a week.. it wasnt very heavy, though..certainly not heavy enough for a tampon.

i wouldnt worry about it too much. you know what's causing it (missing a pill) so just try to avoid that. maybe next time you see the gyno, ask them about it. if it's really a hassle, you could try switching pills.

it definitely is a full flow.. i would say heavier than my normal periods with a lot larger tissue.

i think i might try and switch next time im there. it's really an inconvience not being able to have sex :(
