yellow discharge and mild itching.

yeast infection?

it'd be the first ever. and you'd think i'd pick up some tips along the way, but i just wanna make sure this kind of discharge is normal. also, a new kind of smell. not pleasant.

what treats it most quickly, in your opinion?

you might want to go to the doctor first to make sure it's a yeast infection. if it is, monistat 1,3, or 7 works fine. the pill (diflucan) is good too but it takes a little while to kick in (like a day or two.) putting yeast on/in your vagina may help to ease the itchiness.

trich is the short name, its one of the bacterias that causes BV a common one at that.. it kind of gives a musty or fishy odor

its like 7 days worth of antibiodics and your fine.. plus since its your first "maybe" yeast you should always get it checked out to make sure

trich

It's short for trichomoniasis. Here's a couple of pages about it:

in my personal experience, inserting garlic into my vagina for several hours, 2 or 3 nights works like a charm :o)

if it's your first, see a doc, you don't want to mistreat it!
he'll give you something to clear it up quickly.

@ symptoms: my first YI didn't itch or burn at all and i didn't have discharge, so, i guess you can never really know.
