during this summer I have had two yeast infections, and today I can feel the third one coming on. Every time there has been discharge, itchiness, discomfort, and sex has been too painful. Each time I have taken canesoral and the symptoms cleared up within a few days. I have made a doctor's appointment to get it checked out, as I have not actually gotten any of it checked out so far.
I am just wondering if these could all be symptoms of something worse like cervical cancer as I'm getting pretty qparanoid right now. Also is it possible my boyfriend and I have been passing it back and forth? After the first yeast infection that I had, the tip of his penis was slightly itchy, but it went away and never got any worse. Would he have any other symptoms?

1) It is definitely possible to pass the yeastie-beastie between partners. Ideally you should both be treated, and abstain from PIV sex until it's treated.

2) Sometimes over the counter treatments can suppress the yeast without killing it. It could be that enough of it is being left unharmed every time so that eventually it multiplies and flares up again as an apparently new infection. You should try and see your GP if you can, and try an alternative to the canesoral.

3) Frequent yeast infections are not usually a sign of anything terrible like cancer. Often they're related to diet, lifestyle, medication, hormone levels, even the humidity of the area you live in.

Often people with diabetes or immune problems can suffer with recurrent YIs but they're usually severe and resistant to the usual drugs/treatments.

Hopefully your doc can help you out, and put your mind at rest.
