Ok, like I said in other posts I'm very late on my period and am afraid that I won't get it this month. So, I stopped taking the pill for a couple of months until recently I got back on it. I'm a paranoid person over the littlest things and I'm like having high anxiety over this even though I already took a pregnancy test and it was negative. So what do I do if I don't get my period this month, take another test? Or just blame it on the pill? Cause I've read the pill sometimes you can have no periods but should I still be worried..heh. I've been having headaches, stomach pains ( Even though I also have Crohns) kinda dariehha,I've been feeling kinda lightheaded today..is that because I'm worrying myself to death. I dunno why since I already took a test.

HBC can thin your uterine lining, which in turn can cause an absent period. In general, negative pregnancy tests can be trusted if they were taken 19 days after the sex in question. Have you been relying solely on BCP as your method of contraception? When you say you started retaking BCP, does that mean you started this month?

I think especially your first month on BCP, your uterus may not have built up enough of a lining for you to have a withdrawal bleed, and that's probably what's going on. If there were no issues with the condom (breaking, falling off, etc.), you could trust the condom as a sole method of contraception - so with the BCP, you're extra safe. It really sounds to me like you're extremely unlikely to be pregnant, and that it's the hormones or stress or something else that have caused you to not have a withdrawal bleed this month. I hope this helps reassure you :)
