I am currently talking Ortho Tri-Cyclen, I've been on the placebo week until today. I am supposed to start my new packet at 10pm tonight. But I will not be able to get to my pharmacy until tomorrow afternoon, but I do have a starter pack of LoSeasonique. I was sexually active last night. Will I be protected if take the new pack of Ortho Tri-Cyclen late afternoon tomorrow? Or would it be safer to just start a new birth control and take the LoSeasonique tonight? If anyone has taken LoSeasonique before I would like to hear about it? Thanks for your help.

It would be safer to take at least one pill from the other pack -- extending the placebo week is one of the riskier things to do, pregnancy-wise, and if there's semen from last night... I'd at least take one pill out of the other pack, so your ovaries don't get a chance to do any more waking up.

Yep, you can just take one pill from your Seasonique pack if you like OTC, and start your OTC tomorrow. Or if you were planning to switch to Seasonique, you can do so now. Extending your hormone-free week by 16 hours or so probably won't make a HUGE impact on your protection, but since the option is there to avoid it, may as well take that.

Doesn't really matter. If you like your current start day, start with the second pill. If you want to start on a Monday instead, start with the first. :)
