This isnt really a question, but I wanted to share.

I'm going on Mircette soon, and today I went to the military clinic to pick up my pills because I can get them for free there. When the pharmacist was making sure that the right thing was being given to me, I noticed my psychology teacher from last year enter the clinic. She smiled and started walking over to talk to me right when the pharmacists says... "Remember to take your BIRTH CONTROL at the same time each day.. if you don't take THE PILL art the same time every day, it can be less effective." (With emphasis and all)

It's more than I needed my teacher to know.

Eh. For all she knows, you could be taking it for irregular cycles, horrible cramps, acne, etc etc etc.

Who cares what other people think, honey? You're just being responsible. And think about it, there are worse things your teacher could have found out! Like, that you were a total crack whore, or about some crazy activity you did last night, or how you're a drunken loser. But you probably aren't! So just be glad that birth control is the worst thing she could find out about ya :) Because it ain't that bad!

Not that big deal. You're a young woman, and have the right to embrace your sexuality. :)

Hell, my entire Molecular Biology class, including the two professors, know I was on the pill, and even that I used it to skip periods. We were discussing how hormonal BC works in the molecular concept, and I got to explain to a very interested, mostly male class. :)

but...if you are really upset about this... a little tidbit:

HIPPA laws require pharmacists to keep the utmost in confidentiality when serving their patients. They aren't allowed to yell out any personal information like that.

I'd file a complaint ;)
