1. is it possible to get pregnant when i had sex yesterday and start my period, say, tomorrow? even though i JUST had sex could one of those little guys have gotten in there and i be pregnant and not know till next month? i'm just really curious....any info is better than no info right?
2. i'm pretty sure i had a miscarriage last month. last month when i fianlly got my period it was super heavy, heavier than any of them i have ever had ever in my life and the cramps were so bad i couldn't get out of bed nomatter how hard i tried.. is it possible tha was a miscarriage or just a really bad period? yea ye ayea i know, i should see a doctor but i wanted to ask here too.
3. if that was a miscarriage, is there a certain amount of time your body takes before it lets you get pregnant again? i really really wanna be pregnant so that's why i'm asking.

Date: 2003-09-08 03:02 am (UTC)Also, regarding the miscarriage, I'm really sorry if that was the case, and as a previous poster said, it is just too difficult to diagnose, though, yes it is posible.
Your body is physically capable to become pregnant as soon as 2 weeks after a miscarrage. Though it is very unlikely that you will be able to carry to full term - the body is unlikely to be able to handle that. Most experts will say wait until you have had atleast one menstral cycle to begin trying again.

Date: 2003-09-08 12:17 pm (UTC)As much as my heart said go for it, my body waited until after my preiod and I only found out yesterday that I am indeed pregagnt again. I wouldn;t take the risk of going through that again, and have attempted to do everything right.
If you have a regualar cycle, there are plenty of sites on the net that will explain ovulation and whne is the best time to try to conceive.
I agree, there are plenty of 26years olds out there who just are not mentally ready to have children yet, but in tern plenty of 19 year year olds who are. someone asked me once when I intended to have more children, I said not yet, the time isnt right. They replied, the time is never right, and thinking about that, they were so right, the time is never right but we all make the most of it. Start looking at some preconceptual care websites, they will give plenty of help from nuitrition to sex positions that may help with conceptions.
If you suspect you did however have a miscarriage give your body abit of time to heal, and please seek some medical help. There may be some residue left internally that may become infected and in turn hinder your chances for furture pregnanies.
