ok, i checked in the archives and didnt see anything similar to this, so, sorry if people ask this all the time...
i think my vagina is going haywire.
i just had a yeast infection (which went away really quickly with an otc treatment), then my outer lips got really really swollen (that has gone down now) and my period is over 3 weeks late.
i've been having pms like symptoms off and on, but no sign of blood
i havent had sex in.. well.. i'm not pregnant :)
i'm not on birth control either, but my period is usually really, really regular anyway.

so what i'm wondering is... has this ever happened to anyone else? i don't have any symptoms that something bigger is wrong, but i dont know if all the little things could actually be signs of a bigger problem.

Could be the stress from having the yeast infection is putting your period off. You'd be surprised how long stress can delay it. If it's really bugging you, though, you can always see your doctor.

Stress along with being ill have a tendancy to delay ones period. The reason? well when your ill your body wants to preserve as much of its blood as possible, and when your stressed your hormons tend to be flying this way and that, so it delays your period. with a yeast infection, you were probably both stressed and slightly sick, so your body is recovering right now. i would not be worried about hte three weeks, you may find that you will just "skip" this month because of the stress and illness...
