Aug. 21st, 2003 02:42 pmI am having serious issues with tampons this month. They don't seem to expand like normal and so I only keep them in for like .. 3 hours tops because they keep leaking. I was using Playtex, but I am trying Tampax right now to see if its different.
What type do you use that works like a charm?

Date: 2003-08-21 11:52 am (UTC)i started with ob and that was working about a year ago i switched to kotex and that was working well, but lately i am having the same problem...perhaps its a sign we should change brands every year or so...is that a possibility?

Date: 2003-08-21 12:00 pm (UTC)I found it much easier to put them in without an applicator than any tampon with an applicator I ever used.

Date: 2003-08-21 01:15 pm (UTC)without applicators
(applicators are horrible for the environment.)
Also - "Organic Essentials" - can buy them on www.pangea.com
they are chlorine bleach and rayon free!

Date: 2003-08-21 02:21 pm (UTC)Plus they are so much more comfortable for me than Tampax were (at least, when I had a period- I'm on Depo now) And of course, no leaks.
as far as leakage protection goes
Date: 2003-08-22 03:43 pm (UTC)Will do in a pinch, but isn't first choice: Playtex
Leaks like crazy: Tampax
