On monday I had sex (after my period and after curing a yeast infection.. which leaves me a little tender for a few days). It was great. I didn't use any lube and it only felt a little 'off' towards the end. Well afterwards it was like a burning sensation. I got rubbed totally raw. This has happened before, right around the antrance area. Even when I was cleaning myself up a little ball of skin was on the cloth. *oooowwww* I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem. I am totally attracted to this guy. He turns me on like you wouldn't believe. Yet, I don't get really wet. I have had this problem on and off for a while. (the birth of my daughter I believe) Besides using a good lubricant all the time (which we used last night) is there anything else I can do? I don't want him to think that I am not attracted to him or something!

I have to use a lot of lube, most of the time, partially because I'm 40 -- it's natural to dry out as we age. Every so often, I remind my lover, "It's not that I'm not totally hot for you, it's just a dryer day."

Because I never lie about whether I'm turned on, and we've worked out a trusting relationship, it's not a major issue. They don't think I'm not attracted to them. You might find yourself with a relationship that's deservedly trusting like that, too.

Thankfully, we do have a relationship like that. I have tried to explain it before and he is ok with it. Actually sometimes he is hte one who suggests lube because I get so into it that it doesn't feel as if it is hurting, until later. I guess I just don't want him thinking the wrong thing. I enjoy having sex with him a lot. In fact I have never enjoyed sex more. I care a lot about him and I don't want him to think bad about himself, us or anything.

I have the same problem. For whatever reason, even when I'm really turned on, I just don't get that wet. My husband and I use Astroglide for lube and that stuff is a godsend, it has really helped our sexual relationship. You can do some really fun things with lube too, just try to look at it as a fun part of the process, not a failure on your part or his.

Birth Control can affect how wet you get. You mention that it has varied in the past, probably related to hormones. My GF is on the Patch and since she started has not gotten as wet as before. So we keep a Hello Kitty lotion dispenser filled with lube on the bedside table and grab a squirt as needed :-) Your guy sounds understanding about it, so I doubt he would suddenly decide you don't love him enough.

ohh no our relationship is.. complicated. He knows how I feel about him and he is very good with things like this. We are very open which helps a lot. I think it is because my other bf is younger than me.. and he has had issues with it before. Nothing bad just wondering if there was something wrong. My love is older, more experienced I guess and understands. It still makes me feel strange though because I feel as if I should be able to get more wet. C'est la vie. I'll have to go buy some really good lube. Anyone with suggestions? I have this "WET" stuff that has a flavour to it. I HATE it. Maybe because it is water based.. or the scented flavour stuff added? Anyways I would prefer something that is nontaste, non smell etc. Thanks!

Well, get a lube that doesn't ave the spermacide nonoxyl-9, it tastes terrible and numbs your tongue. I recommend going to blowfish.com and reading the lube reviews to see which one you would like.
