I'm on Prozac (20mg, just bumped to 40mg today), and I started to grow my hair back in after shaving for 6 years, however, its only a week's growth, but I just cant think of what else can be causing this. I'm excessively wet. This has been going on for about a week and a half now. I'm not currently sexually active, so Im not sure how this will eventually affect me, but its to the point that I soak through underwear after an hour, I'm ALWAYS wet, nothing I do seems to help, and I'm at a total loss! Its causing me to have to do laundry twice as often, because I cant wear my jeans more then twice before there's a very distinctive odor-and thats if I wear them for 2 hours, change, and wear them the next day that its a problem. Any ideas whats going on? Any help you can offer me? Thanks!

Night-time I just deal with having to wash/change my PJ's every couple of days because my poor girly parts desperately need the time to breathe.

It doesn't sound like you're unhealthily wet, though I soak through clothing very quickly and I always have. However, it sounds like it's severe for you, so you might want to go to the doctor to see if you've got a yeast infection or something similar.
Otherwise, have you made any lifestyle changes? Stress can do funny things, as can diet. Another superstar suggested that the sensation of the hair is causing it - it could be stimulating you slightly and making your girlparts start a party. You could try shaving and seeing if that helps, or wait until the hair has fully grown to see if the effect lessens with time.
In the meantime, you could try using pads to prevent you going through clothing so quickly. Cloth would probably be best, but if you don't have any chafing or discomfort from disposable ones, you could use those, too. I often use disposable pads when I go out, just to save myself the hassle of having to wash my good clothing as often.

Date: 2009-10-09 10:47 am (UTC)i saw a girl with your same issue on tv a while back (show was called embarrassing illnesses, or something?) and the tv doc said that since she washed so often down there, she was drying herself out and her body was making ten billion times more discharge to counterbalance it.
