delaying menstruation

now i know there are ways to induce your period , but is there any way to delay it (besides bc) ? im asking because i have a gyno appointment at the end of the month around the time my period should come and i really dont wanna have to reschedule

I have never heard of any way to delay your period.

HOWEVER,

You should still be able to go through with your regularly scheduled gyno appointment whether you're bleeding or not.

Sorry, there's no way to delay your period if you're having natural cycles. You should call your doctor and see if they actually mind that you might be on your period then (many doctors don't mind and only heavy bleeding will interfere with Pap/swab testing), and if they do mind and your period does coincide with the appointment, they'll probably be able to reschedule you pretty easily because of all the last-minute openings from cancellations of other women in the same situation.
