Hello all.
I'm searching for a woman oriented community, and the last one I found was full of some sweet people, but I got the occasional jerk-off...
My name is Noelle, I'm 18, I'm married, I have 6 cats and no children. That's actually what this question relates to.
My mom used to work OB, and she told me that if you conceive a child close to your period, you can still get it, but it will be irregular.
This is the first time I've ever had a 7 day period, and while it wasn't spotting, there was some stopping and starting action. It came last Monday, stopped Friday morning then came back full swing Friday evening, continued during saturday, stopped most of Sunday and I dealt with a little bit of flow all through yesterday. Today it seems to be all gone.
If anyone has ever conceived and still had a period, I'm hoping for a "You're not pregnant" answer, but I'll take any advice you've got.
Another explanation is a shitload of stress and a recent trip frmo Wyoming to Florida, in case that helps.

I had three full periods while I was pregnant.
So did my best friend.
Maybe go in for a blood test (much more accurate) if you are worried but I am sure its just stress. So many things can affect your period.

I would call it stress. It's theoretically possible to get pregnant close to your cycle and then have a spotty bleed, but it's theoretically possible in the same sense that getting hit by a car while crossing the street is theoretically possible: something to watch out for, but not something that's at all likely.
