I have two questions that I hope you lovely ladies can answer for me. I apologize because these questions are about the two most asked about things: yeast infections and shaving. I hope that these questions haven't already been asked a million times.

1. Today I went out and bought a 3 day yeast infection treatment. I was wondering how well these work and how messy they are. I'd rather do the yogurt or the garlic, but we have neither at my house and it's just a pain to go get. But if the OTC treatment doesn't work, I plan to try yogurt before I call my doctor. So basically, any information on how well they work/stuff like that would be great.

2. I never had a problem with ingrown hairs or razor burn, but I bought Bikini Zone anyway just for the hell of it. I also bought the new Skintimate Bikini and Underarm shaving cream and a shaving minimizer. I was wondering if I put the Bikini Zone on before the shaving minimizer, the other way around, or if it really mattered at all. I also heard deodorant was great for shaving with....but do I use it as a shaving cream or put that on, then put the shaving cream on? That always confused me.

Sorry for all the questions and I hope some of you have some advice. Once I use the Skintimate Bikini and Underarm and the Bikini Zone, I'll let you all know how it went if you'd like. :)

You use the deodorant (not antiperspirant) after the shaving, once you've dried off. Just like you'd use Bikini Zone. The 3 day treatments work fine, or they wouldn't market them. They won't get every yeast infection ever created, but they work fine for the majority.

I think she and I assumed you meant this, or something similar: http://www.dermstore.com/product_Bikini+Zone+Gel_82.htm

If it says to use it to shave, use it instead of the Skintimate stuff.

I dunno, I was allergic to Skintimate anyway. Ouch.

I've never seen any other kind of Bikini Zone other than the kind you use after you shave to soothe irritation. Which is what you do with the deodorant.

I tried a 3-day treatment once, and I hated it. They were these little capsules I guess, that were supposed to dissolve, but they kept making a mess then falling out. I liked the creams in the plunger applicator better. I'm sure all of them work though, I'm sure the capsules are fine for some people.

For the shaving stuff, just shave with the Skintimate, then use either Bikini Zone or the deodorant. By shave minimizer, I assume you mean some kind of lotion that's supposed to slow the hair growth process. This should probably go on last, and you can of course apply it when you haven't shaved. Make sure that it's OK to use in the bikini area, it should say whether or not you can on the bottle.

I prefer the three day suppository treatments. Less mess, less hassle, less time I have to go without sex.
