Date: 2003-07-31 10:12 pm (UTC)However if you don't normally get it, you might have some bug or something. Mine is EVERY month, no exceptions, and alot of times PMS symtoms stay the same period to period but vary in severity for most women.

Date: 2003-07-31 10:25 pm (UTC)I start taking large (800 mg) doses of Advil a day or two before my period, and it helps a lot. Advil may clear it up, because it helps lower the hormone level that causes diarrehea and cramps. Of course, if it's food poisoning or something like that, Immodium might help.
Feel better!

Date: 2003-07-31 10:28 pm (UTC)If you're still feeling this way tomorrow, call your doctor. Until then, drink lots of water and, if you have it, some broth. Tampons make all my cramping (menstrual, vaginal, and intestinal) worse, so I avoid them until the IBS passes.
I hope you feel better soon.
