Non-prescription or Natural?

When I get a yeast infection I go for the Monostat 1-day treatment every time. It's available OTC at just about any drug store or Kmart type store.

It's a one-night application and comes in either a cream or a solid insert that disolves after being inserted. You'll continue to experience symptoms for up to three days after the initial treatment and then all of a sudden the yeast infection and all of its symptoms will disappear.

Since this has been available OTC I've never been back to the doctor for a prescription treatment (although that new oral pill is tempting) and I've never tried natural remedies because the one-day treatment has always worked well for me.

Quite a few ladies here have used natural methods though, and are content! I guess you just have to work your way through the different treatments until you find one that you like and that works for you.
