I don't see why it couldn't be possible. If you ovulate, you can be artificially inseminated.

Hypothetically, you could undergo the process, yes. The only thing that would perhaps be a hindrance that you would probably have to deal with would be the hymen, if it hadn't already been "broken" by tampons, masturbation, etc.

i have a bible class and i read the story of the virgin mary. and i thought maybe in modern times a virgin can give birth to a child. lol

Absolutely you could be. I don't know of anyone that has done this, but lack of prior sexual activity would be no barrier if one had the finances and desire to become pregnant via artificial insemination. And I imagine there are definitely people out there who did.

Why not? If the money and a willing Dr. are available, I can't imagine why someone would be rejected.
Don't know if it's been done before... I would imagine so, but I would also imagine it's something that people just don't mention or gets news coverage.

I'm in the UK, so we have NHS (National Health Service). They usually want you to try everything, so the doctor might suggest the sex way to have a baby first. I guess unless the women hadn't found the right guy, in which case she may have had sex before anyways in her pursuit. Or gay women, depending on what kind of virginity you're talking about.

I'm also interested in why you ask. I mean, why skip the fun part of baby making? ;)

Plenty of lesbians have been artificially inseminated without ever having had PIV sex--if indeed that is your definition of virginity.

The only thing necessary in order for you to get pregnant from artificial insemination is to be ovulating, i.e., that you've started to menstruate, and for you to be artificially inseminated. You can be a virgin or have had sex with 300 bajillion people or your one true love or not even know what sex is. Sperm don't know the difference :)
