Facial Hair after HBC

Hello, I've looked and it doesn't seem to come up in this community but I have a concern with facial hair growing after getting off HBC. I have been off of HBC for about 1 month and I've noticed dark hairs growing around my upper lip :( I don't know if it will go away with the changing in hormones or if the HBC was suppressing it or if it even causes it! If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. I just turned 24 and I really don't want to have a weird hair issue. Thanks.

for years I've been on orthotricyclen lo and then recently for a couple of years nuva ring.

I know it just could be common but I don't want it to get out of hand :(

I had a similar problem (I think) when I switched from Ortho to Trinessa, except that the hairs were on my chin. They're very dark and coarse.... I don't know if yours are the same way.... I just pluck them, because it's only a few a week... if yours are similar, it sounds like you're worried about them getting worse, and from my experience, they've never gotten more frequent or anything like that.

I don't know if it's connected, but near the end of the year and a half that I was on BCP (ortho tricyclen) I noticed that I got dark hairs on my upper lip. I think it was around October that I first noticed it. I went off the pill (for other reasons) in December, and I can still see the hairs now. I'm 30. I don't know if it could just be a natural change, or if it had something to do with the pill. I'm not pleased though.

I've heard birth control can have these sort of side-effects. At least yours is a side-effect mine has been with me since birth. It's horrible but you can join the rest of us who have weird hair issues and just use Nair or wax it. No biggie.
