Good luck!

Date: 2009-04-14 05:40 pm (UTC)I wanted to say that Dermoplast spray (http://www.dermoplast.com/) is good for helping relieve the discomfort. The hospital gave me the kind in the blue can when I was discharged from the hospital after having my son and again after I had my daughter. They said it would help with the burning and the itching when my episiotomy began to heal. It was also given to me by my gyno when I had BV to help with the irritation I had from the itching (I was raw & bleeding). It's not for internal use and it won't cure it but it does relieve the itching and burning for a little while.
Oh, and also, adding a little bit of baking soda to a bath helps also. Just be careful because if you're easily irritated down there you don't want to make things worse. Baking soda was always recommended by my gyno but everyone is different.
