hey there. two questions i'm hoping ya'll can help me out with!

first:

everytime i shave down there it stays nice and smooth for about 24 hours but when the hairs start to grow back it's unbelievably itchy...is there anything i can do to stop the itch?! it happens EVERYTIME and last about 12-24 hours of itchiness :( also, when it starts to grow back i get tiny little white heads sometimes more than other times but at least 2-3 everytime the hair starts to grow back. is that normal? and can i stop those as well??

second:

while having sex with my bf the other night he used a banana flavored condom without my knowledge...he ran out of condoms and his little brother gave him that (hahahha) anyways. it was nearly impossible for us to have sex. i was as dry as a bone. could this have been a result of the flavored condom? i've never used one before... i was a little sore and still pretty dry for the next day or so but then the following night we had sex using our normal condoms and everything was fine.

The condom may not have had any lubrication on it, since it was flavored. If you weren't completely aroused at the time, that coupled with an unlubed condom could definitely make things precarious.

As far as the itching goes, you might try something like bikini zone, it helps with ingrown hairs, razor burn and might help with any itchiness. Unfortunately, itchiness is just all part and parcel of hair growing back.

i hate hate hate hate hate flavored condoms. i get the same thing. very dry and unpleasant. usually if it gets in at all, i feel burny and uncomfortable. so, yeah, i can't really help besides letting you know that i can't stand them and that that's a fairly common issue, i've heard.

aloe vera and/or cocoa butter works pretty well on razor burn for me

make sure you shave in the direction of hair growth. it won't be quite as perfectly smooth a shave, but it reduces your odds of ingrown hairs. i use a silicone-based shave lotion called Coochy that i buy at the local Condoms To Go store or from a friend who is a Pure Romance rep. (like Tupperware, but they sell sex stuff). after i finish shaving and get out of the bath/shower, i wait a few minutes for my pores to close and then i swipe the area with a mild astringent. that helps prevent the red bumps/white heads. i can't put cocoa butter on my bikini line, because it clogs my pores and makes the breakouts worse, but ymmv. i use just a dab of the shave lotion as a moisturizer, and that works well for me.
