So yesterday I posted about how I missed Friday and Saturdays pills. Yesterday I took a pill in the morning (for Friday) and one at my usual night time (for Saturday) this morning I took a pill (for Sunday) so that tonight I can take my Monday pill as scheduled. I am on Alesse and this is what they told me to do in their info.

The problem is I still have some breakthrough bleeding, which I guess will go away eventually. But I feel disgusting! I rarely have cramps or back pain during my period but now I am so nauseated that I had to leave work and my head is so dizzy. I don't know what to do! It's like I'm ODing on hormones, I'm gonna take a nap but I have school later and papers to write for tomorrow but my head is like throbbing. Has this happened to anyone before?

I know nausea is a side effect of Plan B, so it makes sense to me that after getting a concentrated dose of hormones (in the form of BC pills taken closer together than usual as opposed to Plan B), you'd experience nausea. I don't have any personal experience so I don't know how long this might last, but I'd imagine that's why it's happening. Hope you feel better soon!

When I was on Yaz, I took two pills at once and it put me out for the day. Definite nausea, upset stomach, etc. I took a nap, and once I got back up things felt better -- maybe try something that doesn't take much focus?

The pill has made me feel sososos sick to my stomach on so many occasions. Agh, when I got pregnant I had the WORST morning sickness too. Hormones just seriously do not settle well with my tummy. Its pretty normal. I try to eat a big meal before I take it, some people take it before bed so they're asleep & won't feel the nausea but most of the time I'll wake up from the nausea. The only solution I had was to switch to the Mirena IUD. I have NO symptoms at all with the IUD, its gods gifts to women aside from multiple orgasms.

This is definitely common on high doses of HBC, so don't worry about that. Do take a nap and also try to keep your stomach full -- HBC nausea was always 1000000x worse for me on an empty stomach. If you can't eat much at one time, try to eat a small protein-filled snack, like a glass of milk, a string cheese, or a handful of nuts.
