Ok, so I have a weird problem. A couple of weeks ago, I experienced the discomfort of a vertical cut, or split in the skin between my inner and outer labia on one side. Right where the skin folds on the soft skin. I put Aquaphor on it and it healed in a couple of days.
Then, I get the same thing again, but on the other side. I treated it the same way and it healed.
NOW there is a slice on my taint (lack of a better word) and what looks like a rash on my butt cheeks. There is also another cut up near my clit.
Also, unless I am freshly showered, it itches like crazy. No odor, no discharge, just itch.
I have not switched soaps or anything, in fact, I have just been using water to wash down there. No new laundry detergents, nothing. I also have not had sex or masturbated since this started happening, no action down there at all.
WTF is going on? Help me!

Possible yeast infection? Try applying plain yogurt on it to soothe it and possibly cure it.

Could be a yeast infection. They make your skin prone to tears, and could cause a rash too I imagine. You can have a yeastie that is so low grade you don't really have tons of itching or discharge.

Have you been using pads? That's another possible cause I bet.

It does sound like a yeast infection - maybe try an over the counter treatment or see if you can set up a Doctors appointment?

I get those sometimes right above my clit, usually just when I'm finishing my period. I'm pretty sure it's a yeast infection, because it always goes away after I put a little monistat on it. It's basically like the jock itch guys get, where there is too much moisture, so yeast just multiplies. They sting something fierce, don't they?

I like the yogurt idea, and if that doesn't work, some miconazole cream (monistat) should do the trick. It's pretty cheap at Target.

A differing view from someone who works in a hospital. I have seen herpes can also resemble "cuts." Not saying you have herpes, but the way the second sore appeared on the opposite side and the way you said it itches... Hopefully it's just a yeast infection, but maybe you should get it checked out?
