Alright, so, the fact that I've already had two period this month is weirding me out, and I figured the best place to look for advice was a community of vulva lovers, so here we go.

I got my period the 5th, and it lasted until the 8th. It was pretty heavy but nothing alarming. On the 10th, in the morning I bled for an hour or so, heavily, and then my period ran for the hills again.

Last night at work I sat down in the dressing room around 7pm to try on clothes, only to find that I was bleeding again. Not slightly, as in, sitting there, in the dressing room mirror, I could see it "flowing" out of me.

Around 8:30pm I arrived home with my boyfriend, to find that in that hour, hour and a half, I had bled through a super tampon already.

I was also pretty emotional and all around in a general shitty mood and on the verge of tears all night. I don't normally "PMS" or anything, the most I'll get is sore knockers (or lack of :( bahaha ) so I wasn't sure if this is connected or if I was just being pissy.

I went to bed, hoping that in the morning sharkbait might have receeded, but no. The moment I stood up, I had to run to the bathroom as myself, my boyfriends boxers, and carpet if I couldn't move quickly enough, were covered. I had just changed my tampon right before bed - I know, I know, wearing a tampon over night, but that's what I'm comfortable with.

I am bleeding so heavily, with some clotting and it almost seems like I'm also, really "wet" with the blood. Like it's also moderate to heavy discharge at the same time. I'm also having cramping, which is also pretty atypical for me.

Should I be concerned? I already am, but enough to motivate me to get to the doctors, or should I self medicate with video games and my boyfriend in bed?

While we were talking about it, we noticed my "stomach", which feels to me more like my ovaries or uterus, was making noises. Like, creaking/popping noises - not quite the same as your tummy talking. It could be my stomach but my overly active imagination says I'm feeling it in a more uterus-y area.

I am also sexually active, probably at least 4-5 times a week.

VaginaPagina to the rescue!<3

Oh, also, my previous periods were as follows:

February 8-14
December 29-2
November 21-26

your periods do seem to be a little irregular, if you're not on any birth control, maybe that would be something to consider? It is definitely nice to know when to expect your period. Plus, you're sexually active... you want the no-babymakings.

there could be more to it, but I think this is something you really should discuss with your doctor, and have monitored.

If you bleed through a pad in an hour, you should call your doctor. If you do it for a few consecutive hours, you should strongly consider the emergency room. If you have clots the size of golf balls, you should strongly consider the emergency room and at least call your doctor.

I... would call the doctor or an emergency nurse line and see what they say. I know it's Sunday, but the amount of bleeding, more than the intervals, is concerning to me.

(My period, last year, decided to come 4 times in about 2 months. I told my uterus it was stupid (especially since #3 was all light and spotty, but then #4 was normal, bah!), and would've gone to see the doctor... but it got back on approximately-monthly track again. So the intervals could be normal wonky period timing. The amount, as I said before, sounds potentially dangerous.)

At the least, call a nurse-line, drink lots of fluids and if you feel at all faint, get to medical observation! Good luck.

THIS!

It doesn't sound like your periods are irregular, but the amount of bleeding is worrisome, especially if this hasn't happened to you before.
