Irritated perenium?

I'm not sure what's causing this, but for a while, at least a three months on and off, the area between my vagina and anus has been irritated. I used to think it was the rear-most part of my vaginal opening starting to tear from almost-PIV-sex, but upon further inspection I've found the area to be pinkish, it almost looks like chapped skin. The only time it hurts is when touched- fingers, vibrator, penis, urine, anything, and it burns. Not terribly, unless contact is prolonged.

What I want to know is, what could be causing this? I've had two or three yeast infections in this span as well, but never before this. Is there possibly a connection? For now I've been putting small amounts of Vaseline on it so it doesn't sting when I pee, but that isn't making it go away. It has been better today than most, but the area hasn't been touched except by urine in a few days.

Possibly unrelated- my clitoris has been incredibly sensitive the past week, and not in a good way. Though, I'm fairly certain that's just from over-stimulation and that is beginning to heal.

This happened to me recently and in my case it was in conjunction with a really bad yeast infection. Before I put some OTC yeast infection cream in me, I smeared a bit on that area and almost immediately felt relief and within about 2 or 3 days it was all better.

Sounds like the raw spot, at least, could be an external YI -- I've seen a skin-YI recently (not mine) and yes, looks almost like chapped skin...

i've been having the same thing lately!
i dunno what's causing it either but i've been putting acidophilous up there to try and treat it if its a yi which seemed to help slightly.
does yrs itch when its not being touched? because mine does and when my boyfriend and i have piv sex, sometimes it feels like hes going to tear through the wall too.
