weird odor and color

Hello,

I have recently noticed that my vagina is giving off a really weird and strong odor. It has been going on about a week. I have definitely noticed it while around people, and it is very embarrassing. My period ended around when this odor started, about a week ago. However within the past 3 or so days, I have noticed a very light pink color on the toilet paper I use when I go to the bathroom. Any ideas on what this could be? Is this normal? I have never had this happen before or know of anyone else experiencing similar things. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

If it's an unpleasant or foul odor, suspect Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) first, and you can either try some of the home-remedies (I believe the vulvapedia, linked off of http://www.vaginapagina.com/ , includes some) or go to a doctor. If it's just kind of strong, check to see what you're eating recently. (If you use tampons, you may wish to double-check that all the tampon material was removed.)

The pink... Could be some irritation with your cervix, could be your uterus having a few little spitspits, could be your uterus being confused and ramping up for an early second period... If you're on HBC, there are some things that can confuse your uterus into bleeding, such as delayed or missed pills...

If you have a slight infection, then that could be irritating your cervix enough to make it bleed a little. You might want to have a gyno (or GP who handles such things) take a look.
